Have a beautiful 1960 Lincoln Continental to get you through the day

It's almost as nice as a '59 Capri.

True. But, one might imagine its convertible top leaked just a little even when new, and would soon decay if out in the weather. So, better looking (for now), but not any more intrinsically okay to be outside.

Truer words have never been spoken. The rear window still retracting must be a nightmare to restore.

At least the Breezeway Mercurys had the rear window under an overhang. I have to imagine, though, that any of the Mercury models with enhanced cabin air pathways have got to be rust magnets beyond the impossible. That scoop on either side of the Turnpike Cruiser is a "ha ha, fuck you A-pillar integrity" if I ever saw one.
